Born in NAGANO in 1984.

He started musique and flute from age of seven with Hitomi Oriishi.

Studied the flute at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music
with Chang-Kook Kim, Paul Meisen, Tomio Nakano, Hiroaki Kanda and Dogen Kinowaki.

And then He went to study to France.
National Conservatory regional de Paris with Vincent Lucas.
Ecole Normale de musique de Paris with Shigenori Kudo and Masako Kudo.

1st prize Japan flute convention competition (JAPAN)
1st prize 15th National Competition "Jeune Flutiste" (FRANCE)

Had performances in all of Japan, Paris(France), Seoul(Korea), Manchester(United Kingdom),
Toronto(Canada), and St.Petersburg(Russia).

		Yuya Kanda (flutist) is Professional flutist in Japan. Principal flutist of Tokyo philharmonic orchestra. Also playing solo and performance with Magnum Trio
